Ab Circle Reviews – Why the Ab Circle Pro Won’t Work

If you watch TV you may have seen infomercials for the Ab Circle Pro fitness machine. It has an impressive infomercial with a lot of beautiful models and a stunning presentor called Jennifer Nicole Lee.

When you see the infomercial everything looks great. It seems like this machine is really fun and can help you burn off the belly fat in a short time.

But infomercial claims do not equal reality. I put it before you that the Ab Circle Pro doesn't work and indeed cannot work as the infomercial suggests.

First, there are numerous complaints about this product:

1. The knee pads are far from comfortable indeed, they can actually hurt when you're using the machine which makes it unlikely to do long workouts on it.

2. The way you position yourself in the machine places more strain on your arms than your abs.

3. The circular motion actually creates a momentum force similar to a pendulum which can keep you moving from side to side with no muscle stimulation.

4. People with back problems may find it hard and even painful to assume the workout position in the Ab Circle Pro.

But the biggest reason why the Ab Circle Pro doesn't work is that it can't help you to burn belly fat. No ab machine can.

Your can't burn fat from a specific body part by doing targeted exercises. Our body doesn't work that way. You burn fat from all over your body as a single unit. This means that doing abs exercises doesn't burn belly fat.

Indeed, belly workouts are considered less effective at fat burning than many other strength workouts.

Therefore, the suggestion that the Ab Circle can help you burn off belly fat fast is not true. It just won't happen.

Ab Exercise Belt Or Science Fiction Movie Prop?

We have all seen these devices whether it was in a magazine or on a late night infomercial.  The ab exercise belt or better yet the belt that has attached electrodes for electrical muscle stimulation that is supposed to melt away that stubborn belly fat.

These funky looking belts especially the one with the electrical current running through it look as though they are left over from a bad 70’s science fiction flick.  I am not here to bash anybody’s product especially if it has helped to motivate you to get physically fit.  But, these belts will not help you to achieve the cut abs that you are striving to attain.

Now if you own one of these ab exercise belts and have achieved great results, good for you and keep doing what you are doing however, it is the result of the movements that you are doing and not the belt that is getting you results.  But if you still believe it to be the belt that is responsible for your abs continue to use it as your secret weapon.

The fact of the matter is that the companies that produce these belts and any of the other gimmicky abdominal quick fix equipment hire large marketing firms to exploit the fact that you are out of shape and that our society is an instant results society.

What I mean by that is we as people are so used to having what we want when we want it.  We do not like to delay gratification.  That being said, a sexy six-pack does not come overnight and there are no shortcuts.  Great looking, cut tummy muscles take work, make no mistake about it.  There isn’t any drive-thru for instant abs.

When I first started researching the best way to get back into shape I kept coming across advertisements for ab exercise machines.  The people promoting these machines are marketing geniuses.  If you believe all of the hype and propaganda about toning your abs and achieving the elusive six pack you will no doubt waste hundreds of dollars on equipment that is not necessary.

The fact of the matter is that ab-isolating equipment is sort of a misnomer.  It is really impossible to truly isolate specific muscle groups.  Everything in our bodies is connected to something else.  If you remember that song about the leg bone being connected to the hip bone and so on and think about what it is saying, you will begin to realize that our body is designed to work as a whole.

This also translates really well to your workouts.  If you concentrate your movements on a full body varied workout routine using precise and controlled movements, you will undoubtedly strengthen your core and shed overall body fat.  Therefore uncovering your abdominal muscles in time. These full body routines can easily be done using your own body weight and in time you can advance by adding weights.

The most important difference between rowing machines is how they create resistance. Some types use a fan that creates a high level of resistance by forcing air through a compression chamber. This "air resistance" type of machine provides very smooth action, and a decent level of resistance. On the downside, these machines can also be quite noisy.

Hydraulic rowing machines use a mechanical hydraulic chamber to create a high level of resistance. Hydraulic machines are not as smooth as the air type, but on the plus side, they do tend to be extremely quiet, and are easy to adjust from one level of resistance to another.

While it is important to note that an exercise rowing machine with a built-in computer tends to be quite a bit more expensive than their non-computer counterparts, in the long run they are worth the additional expense if you're serious about getting the best workout.
